# How It Works

Step-by-step guide to creating and launching a meme coin with CoinFactory.

## How to Create and Launch a Meme Coin

CoinFactory Meme Coin Creator lets you create and launch a meme token on supported EVM networks without writing code or deploying smart contracts manually.

The entire launch process happens in one flow: you choose a network, configure your token, select a trading pair, optionally make an initial purchase, and confirm the launch from your wallet.

Once the transaction is completed, your token is deployed and a Uniswap V4 liquidity pool is created automatically.

### Step 1 — Choose a Network

Open Meme Coin Creator and select the network where you want to launch your token.

Supported mainnets include:

* Ethereum
* Base
* Polygon
* BNB Chain (BSC)
* Arbitrum
* Optimism
* Robinhood Chain

Sepolia is also available as a testnet for testing the launch process before using a mainnet.

Each network has its own gas token, transaction costs, ecosystem, and available paired tokens.

### Step 2 — Connect Your Wallet

Connect an EVM-compatible wallet to CoinFactory.

Your wallet is used to:

* create and launch the token;
* approve and confirm transactions;
* pay network gas fees;
* receive tokens from an Initial Buy;
* manage and claim Creator Rewards after launch.

Make sure your wallet is connected to the same network you selected in Meme Coin Creator.

You also need enough of the network's native currency to cover gas fees and the launch transaction.

### Step 3 — Enter Token Details

Fill in the basic information for your meme coin.

#### Token Name

The full name of your token.

Example:

**Pepe Rocket**

#### Token Symbol

The ticker used to identify your token.

Example:

**PROCKET**

#### Token Logo

Upload an image that will represent your token across CoinFactory and supported interfaces.

#### Description

Add a short description explaining the idea, theme, or community behind your meme coin.

#### Social Links

You can optionally add links such as:

* Website
* X (Twitter)
* Telegram

These details help users identify your project after launch.

### Step 4 — Choose a Paired Token

Select the asset your meme coin will trade against.

The paired token becomes the other side of your token's Uniswap V4 liquidity pool.

For example:

**Your Meme Token / ETH**

The available paired tokens may differ depending on the selected network.

This choice affects how users trade your token after launch, so select the pair that best fits the network and audience you are targeting.

### Step 5 — Configure an Initial Buy

An Initial Buy is optional.

It allows the creator to purchase part of the token supply during the same transaction that launches the token.

This means you do not have to wait for the token to launch and then make a separate trade.

The Initial Buy can be up to **5% of the total token supply**.

If you do not want to purchase tokens during launch, simply leave the Initial Buy at zero.

### Step 6 — Review Your Token

Before launching, review all entered information carefully.

Check:

* token name;
* token symbol;
* logo;
* description;
* social links;
* selected network;
* paired token;
* Initial Buy amount.

Some token information may be difficult or impossible to change after deployment, so make sure everything is correct before confirming the transaction.

### Step 7 — Launch the Meme Coin

Click the launch button and confirm the transaction in your wallet.

Your wallet will show the transaction details and estimated gas fee.

Once confirmed, CoinFactory executes the launch process on-chain.

You do not need to deploy a token contract or create a liquidity pool manually.

### What Happens During Launch?

CoinFactory combines several normally separate operations into one launch flow.

The process can be summarized as:

**Create Token → Create Uniswap V4 Pool → Initialize Liquidity → Start Trading**

#### Token Deployment

A new token contract is deployed on the selected EVM network using the configuration you provided.

#### Liquidity Pool Creation

CoinFactory creates a Uniswap V4 liquidity pool for your token and the selected paired asset.

#### Initial Buy

If you configured an Initial Buy, the selected amount is purchased as part of the launch flow.

#### Trading Starts

After the transaction is confirmed and the pool is initialized, the meme coin becomes available for trading.

### What Happens After Launch?

After a successful launch, CoinFactory shows the token launch result and relevant token information.

From there, you can:

* view your launched token;
* copy the token contract address;
* share the token with your community;
* open the token's trading pool;
* track trading activity;
* manage Creator Rewards.

Creator Rewards start accumulating from eligible trading activity automatically. No additional setup is required after launching the token.

### Creator Rewards

Meme coins created through Meme Coin Creator can generate rewards for their creators from trading activity.

Rewards accumulate after users begin trading the token and can later be claimed through CoinFactory.
